PA Ireland Event – Aran 2020
On behalf of IPA Ireland:
Next year Galway City on the west coast of Ireland will be hosting the European Capital of Culture 2020. Throughout this Galway 2020 programme, the themes of language, landscape and migration come to life. Structured around the old Celtic calendar of Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasa and Samhain, Galway 2020 begins in February and runs through until the end of January 2021.
For the past 5 years IPA Galway have built a fabulous IPA event called IPA Aran. You can find a link below to the IPA Aran Facebook page and a YouTube link to a video showing this years IPA Aran Event. Also attached in PDF is IPA Irelands most recent magazine – see page 6 onwards to read about this years IPA Aran.

I am currently working closely with the Galway 2020 Capital of Culture committee to collaborate a major IPA event in Galway in conjunction with the Aran Event. This will be happening in July 2020 and will involve 3 days on the Aran Islands and a number of other events in the amazing Galway city. A full programme of IPA events will be published soon, but interested IPA members are asked to contact me so that I can keep them directly informed.

IPA Hosting Book – Version 11 (October 2019)
Dear All IPA Sections
Please find attached Version 11 of the IPA Hosting Book. So too, find attached a Summary of the IPA House Portfolio highlighting the status of activities that were embarked upon over the term on the SCC which will be coming to an end at the IWC to be held in Croatia.
I do in this regard wish to express my sincere appreciation having been appointed to the Commission and assigned the Portfolio of IPA Houses. It has been a wonderful experience and which I will foster for years to come.
There is sincere appreciation for the trust placed in me by the International President and the IEB. I do in this regard wish to specifically thank Gal Sharon, the International Vice President and SCC Chairperson for being given the opportunity to serve on the SCC.

I do also however wish to express a sincere word of appreciation to Elke and Kerry at the IAC. Their support, guidance and contributions have always been practical and professional. You are stars ladies.
It has been a fantastic journey and I trust that the IEB, all Sections and members have benefited from the Hosting Book publications and Newsletter Articles.

IPA Membership Card Template 2020 – updated link
To all National Sections & Presidents,
On behalf of Treasurer Social Affairs, Wolfgang Gabrutsch:
A couple of IPA sections have experienced issues regarding the quality of the templates when producing the 2020 membership cards. The templates have been improved with smoother lines on the globe surface on the card. The updated templates can be accessed by clicking the link below. For any IPA section that has already produced, or is in the process of producing their 2020 membership card templates, please be assured that they are still valid, and it is a very minor change.
